Google Lens is a tool based on artificial intelligence ( artificial intelligence / AI ) computer vision that can analyze photos, recognize objects in it, and retrieve information such as addresses and phone numbers. Initially Google Lens is only available in the series of Pixel devices made by Google itself. However, earlier this week, the internet giant started giving Google Lens to other Android devices through Google Photos. "Starting today, Android users can try Google Lens to do things like create new contacts from business cards, or get information about famous landmarks ," Google chirps in a tweet , with links to the Google Photos app. In the latest version of Google Photos app there is a new option Lens icon to analyze photos. Then, depending on what object is recognized by Lens from the photo, Google Photos will display a number of cards containing relevant information about the object.

For example, if a user scans a business card, Lens will recognize the information listed, such as e-mail address, phone number, and job title in the company, and then stored in the contact list on the phone. For now this may not be all Android users in various countries already get the latest version of Google Photos that already contains Lens feature. The update itself is channeled gradually.
